Drifting across the fluid planes lost in the sea of tranquility
Arose twin serpents ensnaring my legs, climbing hungry and fast
Made of light they encircled my spine spiraling up from within
Astral lights of color emerged as through me they passed

From my head white light exploded in all directions,
As the serpents collided in my mind giving sight
The heat from the colors traveled throughout me
First elation and bliss, then the darkness of night

i awoke high above the world below,
i fell, plummeting fast and yet slow
it was an ancient world that resembled what i know,
from a time before the frozen ice and snow

In the center growing beneath me was an island full of energy
Circled by land rings and water, a city, so strange
Like a target it drew me as I prepared for the end of me
Chanting with hands raised a reverent people, await
